Synergy Construction is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our Sagunto-Valencia project, where we are building a battery cell gigafactory for electric vehicles and driving sustainable mobility in Europe. The role focuses on QA/QC for on-site works, with emphasis on inspections and documentation.

• University degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial building QA/QC.
• Experience with piping, HVAC, electrical installations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good documentation and record-keeping.
• Strong communication with teams and subcontractors.
• English professional working proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily quality inspections of on-site works (mechanical, piping, HVAC, electrical).
• Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs and standards.
• Inspect incoming materials and ensure only approved materials are used.
• Prepare and follow up inspection requests, checklists and quality records.
• Identify defects and non-conforming works, issue NCRs and verify corrective actions.
• Coordinate inspections with Site Management, subcontractors, Client and Consultant representatives.
• Monitor testing and commissioning activities, including pressure tests, electrical tests and functional checks.
• Verify workmanship and overall QA/QC compliance on site.

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our Sagunto-Valencia project, where we are building a battery cell gigafactory for electric vehicles—envisioned as a strategic hub for sustainable mobility in Europe—and are seeking a Quality Engineer with experience in quality control and quality assurance (QA/QC) to join our team, possessing the following qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily quality inspections of on-site works, including mechanical, piping, HVAC and electrical installations.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs and applicable standards.

Technical Experience Required.

Experience in several of the following areas is preferred:

• University degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in the supervision or quality control of industrial building construction is desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Stainless steel, carbon steel and galvanized piping.
• Mechanical equipment installation.
• HVAC ductwork and insulation.
• Electrical panels and busbars.
• Cable and cable containment installation.
• Earthing systems.
• Testing and commissioning.
• Industrial MEP installations.
• Ability to identify construction defects at an early stage.
• Good understanding of construction sequences.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Systematic documentation and record-keeping.
• Clear communication with construction teams and subcontractors.
• Ability to work independently on site.
• Ability to manage several inspection activities simultaneously.
• Firm but practical approach to quality control.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in an international project environment.
