SilverBack is seeking a Site Planner to support international construction projects in Spain. You will develop the master schedule, coordinate with functional managers, and ensure safety and timely milestones on site.

Job candidates should have 8–10 years of planning experience, engineering qualifications, and proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office. Expect active change management, risk analysis, and collaboration with procurement and bid teams.

Currently, we are searching for a Site Planner (m/f/d).

Key Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a strong personal commitment to safety, embrace behavioral-based safety ethos, and ensure safety incident reporting and protocols are strictly followed. Take personal responsibility for stopping unsafe behavior on site.
• Project Set-up & Master Schedule Development: Conduct interactive planning meetings with Functional Managers to finalize the project implementation schedule and baseline (Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 schedules). Develop, maintain, and optimize the project master schedule (including early works, commissioning, and required-on-site dates for equipment and materials). Identify critical vendor data requirements, populate approved commodities and labor to produce baseline S-curves, and perform project schedule risk analysis.
• Schedule Monitoring, Updating & Look-Aheads: Generate and verify weekly progress updates, issue status reports, and produce four-week look-ahead schedules. Extract commodity and resource profiles, monitor slippages, critical paths, and near-critical paths to resolve issues with management. Analyze subcontractor level 4 schedules and provide recommendations.
• Trend & Change Management: Integrate approved project changes into the schedule, monitor ongoing progress, and proactively resolve areas of concern.
• Progress Measurement & Earned Value: Calculate progress across construction packages using status reports, vendor reports, and cost data. Provide schedule input to procurement bids and assist with vendor/contractor bid evaluations and schedule commitments.

Requirements

• Experience & Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Engineering or another relevant discipline (or equivalent experience). 8–10 years of experience as a Planner in a multi-discipline project environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Primavera Project Planner P6 and MS Office applications.
• Sound technical knowledge of multi-discipline work methods, technical techniques, estimating, and tendering processes. Strong understanding of risk management principles, project management principles, and forms of contract.
• Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Excellent problem-solving, organizing, presentation, and pressure-handling capabilities.
