Tecnicas Reunidas is seeking a Planning professional to develop tools and deliverables for projects, operating autonomously under the Planning Leader. The role involves coordinating with Engineering, Procurement and Construction to execute planning tasks across disciplines.

You will assess impacts of changes and risks, provide technical advice, and help implement new tools and procedures while maintaining high standards and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Experience with Primavera P6 and MS Office.
• Extensive experience in refinery, petrochemicals or power.
• High level of English (spoken and written).
• Foreign site experience would be a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop the Planning tools and deliverables for the Project, working autonomously under the Planning Leader.
• Contribute to achieving objectives in planning work on the Project.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement and Construction to carry out planning tasks.
• Assess impacts from change orders, deviations and identified risks and opportunities.
• Provide technical advice to the Project Planning group.
• Implement new tools and procedures (area-specific and corporate).
• Assist in Lessons Learned and knowledge sharing.

• Develop the Planning tools and deliverables (previously established) for the Project, being able to work autonomously within the field of responsibility assigned by the Planning Leader.
• Contribute to achieving different types of objectives in the development and execution of Planning work on the Project.
• In coordination with the Project Control Manager and the Planning Leader, cooperate, coordinate and communicate with the disciplines (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) to carry out such work within the Project, within the division of work assigned.
• Participate in the assessment of impacts from change orders, internal deviations, and identified risks and opportunities.
• Provide technical advice to the Project Planning group.
• Contribute to the implementation of new tools and established procedures (both Area-specific and corporate).

Skills for the position:

• Support the functions assigned to Planning Engineers and Junior Planning Engineers. Propose changes to the Planning Leader when needed.
• Help integrate the other team members.
• Identify barriers that hinder teamwork and seek solutions that enable the achievement of the established objectives.
• Contribute to the establishment of a positive working environment.
• Request/attend his or her own training.
• Keep up to date with technological developments and market innovations.
• Maintain advanced knowledge and keep up to date with the tools and work processes of the Project Control Area. Attend training and outreach activities.
• Propose suggestions regarding alternative methodologies and procedures that may improve performance, as well as any new software programs that may emerge.
• Actively participate in the Lessons Learned Program by contributing improvements and available Lessons Learned.

Additional requirements
