Nadara is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join the Growth Business Unit, with work located in Italy or Spain. You will develop and manage integrated schedules from level 1 to 5, monitor baselines, and forecast milestones, coordinating with multiple departments and EPC contractors.

The role requires 8–10 years of planning and scheduling experience, mastery of CPM and progress measurement, and fluent English. Primavera P6 and MS Project are essential; Planisware is a plus.

Formación

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 8–10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
  • Fluent English is required.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop and manage integrated project schedules from Level 1 to Level 5.
  • Set, monitor and control schedule baselines; align planned vs actual progress.
  • Perform critical path analysis; forecast milestones and completion dates.
  • Monitor planning performance using schedule KPIs, S-curves and earned value.
  • Prepare recovery schedules and mitigation plans to support delays or changes.
  • Coordinate planning inputs across departments; review EPC contractors’ deliverables.
  • Lead planning review meetings and ensure follow-up of actions.
  • Produce clear planning reports for teams and management.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of planning methodologies and tools.

Job Description Summary

We are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to join our Growth Business Unit, based in Italy or in Spain.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage integrated project schedules (from Level 1 up to Level 5) from baseline definition through periodic updates.
  • Set, monitor and control schedule baselines, ensuring alignment between planned activities, actual progress and approved milestones.
  • Perform critical path analysis, identify delays and risks, and provide reliable forecasts of key milestones and project completion dates.
  • Monitor planning performance using appropriate progress measurement techniques, including schedule KPIs, S-curves and earned value analysis.
  • Prepare recovery schedules, mitigation plans and time impact analyses to support decision‑making related to delays or changes.
  • Coordinate planning inputs across departments.
  • Review EPC Contractors’ planning deliverables, ensuring logic integrity, realism and compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Lead planning review meetings and ensure effective follow‑up of planning‑related actions.
  • Produce clear planning reports, including progress status, risks and forecasts, for project teams and management.
  • Apply and contribute to the continuous improvement of planning methodologies, tools and standards.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Solid experience in project planning and scheduling within EPC, infrastructure, energy or industrial projects; experience in renewable energy projects is considered a strong plus.
  • Proven capability in managing integrated schedules, baseline control and progress monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of CPM, progress measurement and schedule performance analysis.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant professional experience in project planning and scheduling.
  • Fluent English is required.
Tools
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
  • Experience with Planisware is a plus.

Salary Range

Permanent contract, ABS 70-75k + variable bonus.
