UST, a multinational digital technology services leader, is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer for a hybrid role in Madrid. You will design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow solutions, focusing on Business Request Catalogue and ticketing processes, including UI widgets and self-service portals.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow platform development, Glide API, REST/SOAP, Kafka, and UI customization.
• Familiarity with Request Management, Case Management, integration patterns (MID Server, REST/SOAP), and ITIL.
• ServiceNow CSA certification required; Application Developer or Implementation Specialist certifications desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Create, optimise, and maintain scripts (Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts).

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into designs.
• Support testing, documentation, deployment, and release activities within Agile delivery cycles.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis across development, test, and production environments.
• Ensure compliance with ITSM standards, enterprise architecture principles, security requirements, and change management processes.

What we look for?

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions, particularly within Business Request Catalogues, Case Management, and Ticketing Systems. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with a collaborative mindset, delivering scalable, efficient, and upgrade-safe solutions in a financial services environment.

Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow solutions focused on Business Request Catalogue and ticketing processes.
• Develop and enhance self-service portal components, including custom widgets and forms, to improve user experience.
• Create, optimise, and maintain reusable server-side and client-side scripts (Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts).
• Implement integrations to streamline onboarding and request management processes.
• Leverage out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities whenever possible to ensure sustainable and low-maintenance solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Support testing, documentation, deployment, and release activities within Agile delivery cycles.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes across development, test, and production environments.
• Ensure compliance with ITSM standards, enterprise architecture principles, security requirements, and change management processes.

What do we expect from you?

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

Minimum 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.

Strong knowledge of:

• ServiceNow platform development
• Glide API
• REST and SOAP web services
• Kafka streaming technologies
• Experience with Service Portal development, including widget creation and UI customisation.

Familiarity with ServiceNow modules such as:

• Request Management
• Case Management
• Understanding of integration patterns, including MID Server, REST/SOAP APIs, and data migration techniques.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required; Application Developer or Implementation Specialist certifications are highly desirable.

Awareness of security, compliance, scalability, and governance requirements within regulated financial services environments.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Proactive, quality-oriented, and capable of working both independently and within cross-functional teams.

Work Location

Hybrid position in Madrid (3 days at client´s office, Sol area, next to the underground).
