Job summary

Pillar, the Italian startup expanding into Europe, is seeking a hands-on SEO specialist to drive organic growth from strategy to execution in Barcelona. You will own end-to-end SEO, optimize AI-friendly content, build scalable pages, ensure technical soundness with Core Web Vitals, and convert traffic into qualified demos, collaborating with product and brand teams.

Native Italian and fluent English are required, with 3+ years in SEO; experience with Semrush/Ahrefs, GA4, GSC, and international

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience with measurable organic growth.
• Strong technical SEO knowledge: crawling, indexing, JS rendering, Core Web Vitals.
• Experience developing content strategies, topic clusters and editorial calendars.
• Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4 and professional SEO tools (Semrush/Ahrefs).
• Native-level Italian and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Own organic growth end to end: keyword research, site architecture, content briefs, internal linking and content refreshes.
• Optimize content for AI-powered search experiences and cite credible sources.
• Build scalable landing pages and tools from price lists, costs and regulatory data.
• Maintain a technically sound website with crawling, indexing and Core Web Vitals improvements.
• Turn traffic into qualified leads and booked demos via optimized CTAs and conversions.
• Develop digital PR initiatives and high-quality backlinks.
