GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center in the wind energy domain, based near Barcelona. You will monitor turbine performance, guide remote troubleshooting, and support commissioning and service activities, ensuring safe, reliable operation.

The role requires engineering credentials, wind energy experience, and European work eligibility. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, analyze data for faults and trends, and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent wind energy experience
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems in operational environments
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication
• Availability to travel up to 20% of the time
• Fluent English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility

Responsabilités

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
