GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center to oversee offshore wind assets from a centralized hub in Barcelona, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts, monitor performance, diagnose faults, and drive continuous improvement through remote diagnostics, supporting commissioning and service phases across the turbine lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind sector experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with digital monitoring tools like SCADA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Fluent English, willing to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call during weekends/public holidays.
