Job summary

Hitachi Energy Spain, S.A.U. is establishing an Operations Center of Excellence in Madrid and seeks an SCM professional to coordinate tender-stage procurement activities.

You will leverage SCM intelligence to strengthen bids, manage procurement risks, and ensure a smooth handover to execution teams within a multicultural, cross-functional environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in general SCM activities within project business and 3–5 years of SCM experience during tender stage.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• General technical knowledge of project-based industries (energy, oil & gas).
• Ability to adapt to a multicultural and cross-functional environment.
• Full professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SCM activities for large projects within the tender stage.
• Ensure SCM intelligence and expertise are leveraged in each tender opportunity.
• Contribute directly to the competitiveness of Hitachi Energy's offer to customers.
• Identify and minimize potential procurement risks during the tender stage.
• Ensure a proper SCM handover from tender to execution teams.
• Transfer lessons learned and best practices from previous projects to new ones.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external & internal regulations, procedures & guidelines.
