Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Lead Engineer – Power Systems / Substations (Tendering Advisor) in Madrid. You will act as the technical authority, leading engineering activities for complex tenders and delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

You will interact with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and customers to shape robust bid offers. The role requires extensive experience in power systems, substations, and grid integration, with a focus on advisory, validation and optimization

Formación

Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years as a senior engineer or technical expert in power systems, substations or grid integration.
Strong background in substation systems, control and protection, power systems and power quality.

Responsabilidades

Act as technical authority and advisor for complex tenders.
Lead technical interface with factories and suppliers.
Own technical definition of complex offers for high-risk bids.
Advise tender team on power system solutions including substation, control and protection, PQ and grid integration.
Identify technical risks and opportunities in offers and support mitigation.
Support sales and tender managers during customer technical discussions and clarifications.
Ensure alignment between customer requirements, internal standards and supplier capabilities.
Share knowledge and act as trusted technical reference across the offer organization.
