Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking senior systems engineers to lead automation and operations for the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC). You will help build and lead teams delivering high-availability AWS services such as EC2, S3, Dynamo, Lambda and Bedrock for EU customers.

You will collaborate with technology leaders, drive day-to-day operational improvements, and participate in occasional on-call rotations to resolve incidents outside standard hours.

Formación

• EU national and residing in the EU to operate the ESC.
• Extensive systems engineering across hardware, software, networking, and OS.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash/Python/Ruby; strong Linux and networking expertise.
• Experience creating, revising, and improving SOPs and operational practices.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the launch of the ESC in 2025 and collaborate with global AWS teams.
• Lead operations and development teams delivering high-availability AWS services for EU customers.
• Improve availability, reliability, latency, performance and efficiency of the ESC; participate in on-call rotations.
