Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. is recruiting experienced systems engineers to help build and lead operations for the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) delivering high-availability AWS services for EU customers.

You will collaborate with global teams to improve availability, latency, and efficiency while participating in 24x7 on-call rotations and developing automation scripts. Applicants should have strong systems engineering background, scripting ability, and experience operating 24x7 distributed

Formación

This role requires demonstrated expertise in systems engineering across hardware, software, networking and operating systems.
Experience scripting in Bash, Python or Ruby to automate tasks and incidents.
Strong understanding of Linux, networking, and troubleshooting for performance and reliability.
Able to create, revise, and improve SOPs and drive operational best practices.

Responsabilidades

Oversee launch and ongoing operations of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) for EU customers.
Collaborate with global AWS teams to improve availability, latency, and efficiency.
Engage in on-call rotations to resolve incidents outside business hours.
Lead and mentor operations and development teams delivering high-availability services.
Contribute to change management documents and reduce operational backlog.
