Job summary

Fortune Energy Distribution Europe is seeking a Lead Solar Installation Technician in Los Angeles. This full-time role guides a project team through residential solar installations, coordinating with Project Management and Warehouse departments to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

The ideal candidate has at least three years electrical work, two years solar install experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Three years of electrical work experience, with MPU experience.
Two years of solar installation experience.
Lifting of 50 lbs and long hours; able to work at heights.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Willing to travel occasionally.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and time management.

Responsibilities

Lead a team to install racking, inverters and solar panels on residential roofs.
Perform MPU upgrades when necessary.
Coordinate with inspectors to meet local requirements.
Document and update job status in the company database.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical components and systems.
Enforce PPE and OSHA safety standards in daily work.
Provide excellent customer service with real-time job updates.
Occasionally assist with warehouse organization and other tasks.
