Taylor Hopkinson is partnering with a leading international utility-scale solar company to recruit an Engineering Manager for Solar Structures & Tracker Systems in Europe. Hybrid/Remote options available.

You will lead project engineering, perform structural analyses, review drawings, and collaborate across teams to deploy GW-scale solar projects worldwide. Strong AutoCAD skills and international experience essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in solar PV, steel structures, trackers, racking systems or similar industries.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis and engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and engineering design tools.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary and international environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilités

• Perform engineering studies and structural calculations for solar support structures.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including plans, assembly drawings and construction details.
• Support product development and continuous improvement initiatives focused on structural optimisation and cost reduction.
• Review technical project documentation and identify potential engineering risks.
• Collaborate with project teams, customers, suppliers and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical support during project execution and assist commercial teams with engineering-related queries.
• Contribute to quality assurance activities, design reviews and engineering best practices.
