Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a hands-on Sr. Software Engineer to drive end-to-end delivery for major retail platforms. You will own implementation, design, code reviews, and post-release support while leading client engagements and mentoring teams.

This role emphasizes AI/agent workflows across the software lifecycle, cloud-native development, and strong retail domain knowledge. Expect leadership in architecture, security, and scalability across platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development with hands-on coding and prototyping.
• 5+ years cloud-native, microservices, or event-driven systems on Azure or equivalent.
• End-to-end solution delivery ownership from design to post-release.
• Proficiency with CI/CD, containers, Docker, Kubernetes, and testing.
• Leadership in mentoring, code reviews, and engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution delivery across Discovery and Delivery Tracks.
• Lead client engagements as technical lead, conduct workshops and trade-off decisions.
• Mentor engineers and drive pair programming and example-driven leadership.
• Review and approve deliverables from implementation teams and ensure quality.
• Produce ADRs, interface contracts, data models, and traceability matrices.
