GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona, Spain. You will support the safe and efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a centralized hub, guiding commissioning and service activities and working with site teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot field issues.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Fluent English; EU work eligibility and willingness to relocate to Barcelona.

Responsabilités

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on‑call support during weekends and public holidays.
