Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Senior Professional Services Engagement Manager to drive regional growth by structuring and closing outcome-focused engagements. You will align DevSecOps and digital transformation initiatives with measurable business outcomes, reporting to the Senior Manager of Engagement Management, EMEA.

You will work across sales, delivery, and partners to craft scalable engagement plans, manage complex multi-stakeholder projects, and ensure successful delivery in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience structuring, scoping, and selling professional services engagements.
• Ability to design outcome-oriented proposals and custom SOWs for complex implementations.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, and cloud transformation to map solutions to objectives.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted advisor relationships with division chiefs, program managers, and technical leaders.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand capabilities and desired outcomes.
• Design outcome-oriented service proposals aligned to customer success metrics.
• Structure engagements and price models with flexibility for staff augmentation and packaged offerings.
• Develop custom SOWs and staffing plans for large, complex projects.
• Articulate GitLab’s services value and implementation methodologies.
• Guide customers through commercial terms, procurement, and contracting processes.
• Forecast services bookings and track KPIs like margin and attachment to opportunities.
• Manage escalations to maintain customer confidence and adoption.
• Position consulting, training, and success tiers to ensure long-term retention.
