Preply in Barcelona seeks a seasoned Platform Engineer to join our Developer Platform team. You will own CI/CD systems, tooling, and internal platforms that empower thousands of engineers to move fast and ship with confidence.

You will work on AI-enabled workflows and scalable cloud-native services, collaborating with squads to align roadmaps, reduce friction, and boost developer productivity across Preply's global platform.

Formación

• CI/CD depth: strong hands-on experience building and operating CI/CD systems and pipelines at scale.
• Extensive experience (8 years) designing and building complex backend software systems.
• Software engineering skills including Python; productive in Python for platform services and automation.
• AI Expertise: hands-on with Agentic AI to influence architecture and improve workflows.
• Experience building developer platforms and internal developer tooling.
• Experience designing platforms and tooling for engineers as internal users.
• Familiarity with cloud-native environments and distributed systems.
• Business orientation and data-driven approach.
• Strong communication skills; minimum C1 English level.

Responsabilidades

• Build and evolve CI/CD systems and testing capabilities to help engineers ship quickly and safely.
• Own and evolve the developer journey from writing code to testing and deployment.
• Build internal platforms, services, and developer tooling to reduce friction and scale engineering solutions.
• Provide infrastructure and paved paths for engineers and coding agents to build, test and ship autonomously.
• Use AI and agentic workflows to rethink software development and set up quality gates and safety nets.
• Operate what you build: participate in support and incident rotation, using data and feedback to improve.
• Partner with engineering teams to drive adoption of tooling and align stakeholders across squads.
