Preply is seeking a Platform Software Engineer to join the Developer Platform team. You’ll build and operate CI/CD tooling and platforms that empower engineers to ship quickly and safely.

You’ll own the end-to-end developer journey from writing code to deployment and craft internal platforms and tooling to turn friction into scalable engineering solutions. You’ll use AI-native workflows to rethink the lifecycle while establishing quality gates and safety nets, and participate in incident

Formación

• CI/CD depth: strong hands-on experience building and operating CI/CD systems at scale.
• Extensive backend experience (≈8 years) in complex systems.
• Proficient in Python for platform services and automation.
• AI expertise: hands-on with Agentic AI to influence engineering workflows.
• Experience building developer platforms and internal tooling.
• Familiarity with cloud-native environments and distributed systems.
• Strong communication skills; English with at least C1 level.

Responsabilidades

• Build and operate CI/CD systems, testing capabilities, and paved paths for rapid, safe shipping.
• Own and evolve the developer journey from code to deployment.
• Develop internal platforms, services, and tooling to reduce friction for engineers.
• Provide infrastructure and paved paths enabling autonomous building, testing, and shipping by engineers and coding agents.
• Leverage AI and agentic workflows to improve the software lifecycle and establish quality gates and safety nets.
• Participate in incident rotation and use data to continually improve the platform.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive tooling adoption across squads.
