Job summary

AGAP2 is seeking a Senior Piping Lead Engineer to join the Energy & Engineering team. The role focuses on piping design, stress analysis, and multidisciplinary project execution across industrial sectors, coordinating piping engineers and external resources while interfacing with clients and vendors.

The position involves lead responsibilities as Piping Lead or Technical Focal Point, with hybrid work in Fano/Genova (Italy) and collaboration across international offices.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of piping engineering experience in EPC/EPCM or engineering design environments.
• Experience in Basic Engineering, FEED and Detailed Engineering for industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead piping engineering activities across project lifecycle.
• Define piping design criteria and engineering philosophies per codes and standards.
• Prepare and review piping deliverables including material specs, classes, and datasheets.
• Coordinate stress analysis, piping layout, and equipment interfaces.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multi-discipline teams.
• Interface with clients, suppliers, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
