Job summary

RINA is seeking a Junior Pipeline Engineer for its office in Fano, Italy, within the Plant Engineering Division. The role involves supporting senior engineers in pipeline design, hydraulic analysis, material selection, and regulatory compliance, with opportunities to contribute across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in developing detailed engineering designs for pipelines, considering fluid, pressure, temperature and regulations.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to determine the best route for the pipeline, considering topography and land use.
• Assist in selecting materials for pipeline construction under guidance of senior engineers.
• Assist in hydraulic analysis to ensure proper sizing and flow characteristics.
• Ensure pipeline designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and industry codes.
• Assist in performing stress analysis to ensure structural integrity under operating conditions.
• Coordinate with civil, structural and environmental engineers to integrate design requirements.
• Support in preparing cost estimates for pipeline construction.
• Provide assistance during construction to ensure conformance with design and specifications.
• Identify risks and propose mitigations with senior engineers.
• Assist in communicating with clients and presenting design proposals.
• Assist in preparing detailed engineering documents and reports.
• Explore new technologies to optimize design and construction processes.
