Penspen is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Madrid-based team. The role will involve leading mechanical design work for major oil, gas and petrochemical projects, with potential travel to Al Khafji, KSA. The candidate should have strong leadership abilities and extensive design experience in a global energy services environment.

• 12 years of experience with Senior Mechanical Engineer Design.
• 8 years within the field of Mechanical engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Must have Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee mechanical engineering tasks within Core Engineering or PMC project teams.
• Supervise engineer grade personnel and delegate activities as required.
• Operate under the direction of a Lead Engineer and assume delegated responsibilities.

Main Purpose of the role:

The Senior Mechanical Engineer may operate within the Core Engineering Team or PMC project team environment. They may have engineer grade personnel under his responsibility and will be tasked with their control and management and the delegation of activities to such support personnel. They may work under the supervision of a Lead Engineer in which case his responsibilities will be as delegated. The Senior Mechanical Engineer may be in charge of any or all of the following tasks. The position is to be based in Spain, Europe.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

12 years of experience with Senior Mechanical Engineer Design.

8 years within the field of Mechanical engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.

Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
