Penspen is seeking a Document Controller based in Madrid, Spain. This 18-month contract focuses on document control for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects, with ARAMCO experience essential.

The role involves supporting Core Engineering or PMC project teams, supervising subordinate personnel, and ensuring accurate filing, drawings, specifications, and manuals. Travel to Al Khafji, KSA may be required.

Formación

• 10 years of experience in document control.
• 6 years within the field of document control for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Experience in organizing and controlling project deliverables such as drawings, specifications, operating manuals, vendor submittals, filing systems and document flow procedures.
• ARAMCO experience essential.

Responsabilidades

• Operate within Core Engineering Team or PMC project team environment.
• May supervise engineer grade personnel and delegate activities to support staff.
• Work under the supervision of a Lead Engineer with delegated responsibilities.
• Be in charge of document control tasks and ensure proper document flow.

Educación

Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or closely related field, or Diploma/Equivalent with Project Administration certificate

Main Purpose Of The Role

The Document Controller may operate within the Core Engineering Team or PMC project team environment. They may have engineer grade personnel under their responsibility and will be tasked with their control and management and the delegation of activities to such support personnel. They may work under the supervision of a Lead Engineer in which case his responsibilities will be as delegated. The Document Controller may be in charge of any or all of the following tasks. The position is to be based in Spain, Europe.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

• 10 years of experience with Document Controller.
• 6 years within the field of Document Controller for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or closely related field or Diploma or Equivalent with a Certificate from a recognized agency in Project Administration.
• Experience in organizing and controlling typical project deliverables such as drawings, specifications, operating manuals, vendor submittals, filing systems and document flow procedures.
• ARAMCO experience essential!
