Penspen is seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer to be based in Madrid, Spain, with potential work in Al Khafji, KSA. The role includes challenging IC design responsibilities and oversight of support personnel under a Lead Engineer.

The position is Spain-based with international travel and requires extensive experience in oil and gas projects. Applicants must have ARAMCO experience and a Bachelor’s degree in IC, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.

• 12 years of experience in instrumentation & control engineering.
• 6 years in IC engineering for major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• DCS experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering/Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.

Penspen www.penspen.com are looking for a dynamic Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer. The primary location is Madrid, Spain, you may be required to travel & work in Al Khafji, KSA at some stage.

Main Purpose Of The Role

The Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer may operate within the Core Engineering Team or PMC project team environment. They may have engineer grade personnel under their responsibility and will be tasked with their control and management and the delegation of activities to such support personnel. They may work under the supervision of a Lead Engineer in which case his responsibilities will be as delegated. The Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer may be in charge of any or all of the following tasks. The position is to be based in Spain, Europe.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

• 12 years of experience with Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer Design.
• 6 years within the field of Instrumentation & Control Engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.

DCS Experience Required.

• Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering/Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.

ARAMCO Experience Essential
