Job summary

LOEWE in Getafe, Kingdom Of Spain, seeks a Leather Development & Sourcing Manager to bridge design and production. You will drive end-to-end leather development, translate creative briefs into brand signatures, and ensure top quality, sustainability, and efficiency across luxury leather goods.

The role demands 15+ years in leather development, hands-on expertise in tanning and finishing, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of proven experience in leather development, research, and tanning.
• Deep knowledge of tanning, finishing, grading, and leather behavior in handbag construction.
• A strong eye for luxury aesthetics, handfeel, grain, and color nuance.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; knowledge of Italian and/or French is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end development cycles from the initial design brief to industrialization.
• Translate creative vision into brand signatures with exclusive finishes and color depth.
• Quality assurance & technical validation: balance faster time-to-market with rigorous testing.
• Lead supplier management with ESG, traceability, and regulatory compliance.
