LOEWE, a Spanish luxury house renowned for craft and leather expertise, seeks a Leather Development & Sourcing Manager to bridge design with production excellence. You will drive end-to-end development, ensuring premium finishes, color depth, and consistency across bulk production while embedding sustainable practices.

The role requires deep leather know-how, strong cross-functional influence, and the ability to translate briefs into precise technical specifications for handbags.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leather development, research, and tanning in a luxury environment.
• Deep knowledge of tanning, finishing, grading, and leather behavior in handbag construction.
• Exceptional communication and cross-functional influence to translate briefs into technical specs.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; Italian and/or French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive rapid development and innovation from design brief to industrialization.
• Translate creative vision into brand signatures with controlled color, handfeel, and finishes.
• Quality assurance and technical validation with testing and root-cause analysis for leather behavior.
