Job summary

LOEWE is seeking a Wholesale & Econcession controller based in Madrid to lead monthly closings and P&L analysis for Wholesale and E-concession channels. You will collaborate with global entities, support executive-level reports, and drive budgeting and forecasting cycles.

• 3–5 years of experience in Controlling/FP&A, preferably in retail
• Strong analytical and presentation skills
• Result oriented, highly analytical and organized
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
• Proactive, able to work under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Perform the monthly closing for the local company, analyzing variances and reviewing the P&L for Wholesale and E-concession
• Collaborate with entities (US, APAC) and consolidate to build the worldwide P&L
• Support ad hoc requests for internal and external stakeholders, including spend analysis and regional activity tracking
• Provide financial analyses and modeling for store openings and other initiatives
• Coordinate budgeting activities and local P&L forecasts during cycles
• Participate in transformation projects involving Anaplan, Esker and Power BI

As a Wholesale & Econcession controller, you will be part of our Finance Team based in Madrid and reporting to the Wholesale & Digital Controlling Manager.

Your role will be:

• Perform the monthly closing for the local company, working closely with the Accounting team on Sales matters: analyze variances and review the P&L (Sales, Margin, and OPEX) for both channels (Wholesale and E-concession), calculate accruals, and provide qualitative commentary.
• Collaborate with other entities (US, APAC, etc.) and perform monthly consolidations to build the worldwide P&L for both channels.
• Support the preparation of ad hoc requests for internal and external stakeholders, including spend analysis, activity tracking by region (CAPEX, Marketing, and Staffing expenses), and monthly closing presentations for executive management.
• Work closely with the business teams, providing support through various analyses (for example, financial modeling for new store openings).
• Coordinate budgeting activities and prepare local P&L forecasts during budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Participate in transformation projects involving systems and tools such as Anaplan, Esker, and Power BI.

What is important for the role:

• + 3-5 years of experience in Controlling/FP&A positions (experience in Retail would be a plus)
• Strong analytical and presentation skills
• Be result oriented, highly analytical and organized
• Proficiency in Excel and Power Point are required, and positive valued Power BI.
• Excellent communication skills in English & Spanish
• Proactive, work with tight deadlines
