Celebrity Cruises seeks an experienced Line Cook to join its shipboard culinary team. You will prepare items per supervisor requests, work across kitchen sections, and execute recipes with precision and speed.

Candidates should have at least 4 years in upscale hospitality, 2+ years as a Line Cook, and a culinary school degree. Strong leadership and excellent communication are essential for thriving in a multicultural, dynamic environment.

Formación

• A minimum of 4 years in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting service.
• At least 2 years as Line Cook; shipboard experience preferred.
• A culinary school degree is required.
• Very strong management and intercultural communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving, decision making, and people skills.
• Superior guest service, teambuilding and conflict resolution abilities.
• Knowledge of service standards, needs assessment, and guest satisfaction metrics.
• Strong planning, coaching, organizing, staffing, controlling and evaluating skills.
• Intermediate computer software skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare all basic food items for the menu requested by their supervisor.
• Must possess advanced knife handling skills.
• Must be able to work in any section of a kitchen.
• Must have food knowledge and understanding of culinary terms.
• Must read, understand, follow, and prepare company recipes.
• Proficient in completing tasks efficiently and productively.
• Follow Public Health standards per company, including international guidelines.
• Maintain readiness for health inspections conducted by inspectors or the F&B Director.
• Report for duty on time and maintain appearance and hygiene per company rules.
