Job summary

Emergo by UL's Human Factors team seeks a service-minded Senior Sales Executive in Europe to lead sales of premium HF advisory services across the EMEA region. The role is customer-facing and requires technical credibility to respond to inquiries.

We offer flexibility in where you work; this position can be remote or hybrid from our Barcelona (Spain), Basingstoke (UK) or The Hague (Netherlands) offices, with up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/graduate degree in business, human factors engineering, biomedical engineering, life science or related field
• English proficiency at least C1 level
• 5+ years of consultative sales experience with a minimum $3 million/year quota
• Medical device and/or life science industry experience required
• Human Factors Engineering knowledge and experience preferred
• Business acumen and understanding of sales processes
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM
• Ability to travel including client visits and trade shows up to 30%

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for HF advisory services through the sales cycle from lead to contract
• Understand customer needs and articulate value in presentations and proposals, close sales
• Meet/exceed quarterly and annual quotas, work with SMEs to tailor advisory solutions
• Develop sales pipeline via proactive outreach and trade shows
• Identify customer needs and pain points, integrate HF solutions into product development
• Contribute to HF marketing strategy and event representation
• Inform leadership on evolving customer needs and market trends
• Maintain plans for target accounts and nurture relationships
• Gain HF knowledge via training and self-driven research
• Proactively target key customers for discovery and opportunities
