UST in Madrid is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to build modern, scalable web applications for a global wealth management client. You will work in a cross-functional team using agile practices, with a DevOps mindset, delivering high-quality code in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

You will collaborate with Solution Architects, design software aligned with architecture vision, participate in code reviews, and enjoy a hybrid work model in Madrid center with 3 days in the office.

Formación

• Master's or Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (or proven relevant experience).
• Very good command of English.
• Proven delivery experience in Software Engineering with TDD/BDD.
• Understanding of DevOps concepts including CI/CD and automated testing.

Responsabilidades

• Work in cross-functional agile teams in a DevOps-centric model.
• Design, implement, deploy, release, and monitor applications; participate in PR reviews.
• Collaborate with colleagues across divisions to understand business needs.
• Participate in planning and feature refinement with your team.

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript to build modern, scalable, and secure web applications for a leading global wealth management client. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills, a DevOps mindset, and experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Work together in a cross-functional team using agile methodologies as part of a DevOps-centric model.
• Design, implement, deploy, release, and monitor your team's applications; participate in pull request reviews.
• Understand business needs by collaborating with colleagues from across different divisions of the client.
• Participate in planning and feature refinement sessions with your team.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to design software solutions aligned with the client's overall architecture vision.
• Actively participate in our Software Engineering communities, sharing your knowledge, and helping others.
• Deliver high-quality code, aligned with the client's guidelines and standards.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a can-do attitude, are pragmatic, and open-minded.
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset, and your ideas are welcome.
• You have proven delivery experience in Software Engineering using industry standards, such as test-oriented development using TDD and BDD.
• You understand DevOps concepts, including Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD), and the importance and value of automated testing.
• You are willing to learn new ways of working and support Julius Baer in its transformation.
• You take pride in your work and strive to lead by example.
• You hold a Master's or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or have proven relevant working experience.
• You have a very good command of English.

Location

Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office.
