UST is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer focused on frontend (React + TypeScript) while being comfortable with Java/Spring Boot backend. This replacement role is based in Madrid with hybrid work, emphasizing engineering practices and code quality within a regulated client environment.

The candidate will join a cross-functional, DevOps-oriented team, contribute to end-to-end delivery, and participate in design sessions and code reviews to ensure architectural alignment and quality.

Formación

• Proven frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
• Strong backend knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Experience building RESTful services and SOA principles.
• Solid SQL skills (Oracle) and data modeling.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Avro, and streaming data.
• Experience using Kubernetes and VM environments.
• Knowledge of OpenAPI and UML is a plus.
• Focus on best practices, clean code and maintainability.
• Experience with TDD/BDD and automated testing.
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps concepts.

This role is urgent, as it covers a replacement position, and prioritizes engineering best practices and code quality over years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of a cross-functional, agile team in a DevOps-centric model

Mandatory Requirements

Technical expectations

• Strong experience with React, TypeScript.
• Solid knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
• Experience with RESTful services and service-oriented architectures
• Good understanding of SQL (Oracle)
• Familiarity with Kafka and Avro for streaming
• Experience working with Kubernetes (PKS) and Virtual Machines
• Knowledge of OpenAPI and UML
• Strong focus on best practices, clean code, and maintainability
• Experience with TDD / BDD and automated testing
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
