Job summary

DDN seeks a Senior People Business Partner to help build and deliver the People agenda across our growing EMEA organization from our Madrid office. You’ll partner closely with regional leadership and work cross-functionally with Global HRBPs to translate global talent priorities for Europe and the Middle East.

The role blends strategic partnership with hands-on execution as we shape a new People operating model.

Qualifications

• Significant HRBP experience in a genuinely multi-country European/Middle East environment.
• Broad knowledge of European and Middle East employment practices across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience supporting multiple functions—Sales, G&A and technical organizations—in a matrixed global company.
• Strong grounding across performance management, employee relations, talent management, organizational effectiveness and change.
• Builder mentality in evolving organizations with emerging processes and ownership.
• Exceptional execution skills with structured planning and detail orientation.
• Strong cross-functional instincts—collaborating with Legal, Finance, Operations, regional leaders.
• Strategic understanding of broader business and talent implications beyond individual tasks.
• Hands-on approach; willingness to roll up sleeves during growth and transition.
• Sound judgment, curiosity, and ability to operate independently while knowing when to involve others.

Responsibilities

• Partner across EMEA, translating global talent and organizational strategies into the regional context.
• Bring real multi-country expertise to navigate diverse employment environments and advise on benefits and contracts.
• Own performance and employee relations across the region, coaching managers and coordinating with Legal and local counsel.
• Help build DDN’s People playbook by shaping programs like performance management, onboarding, and manager enablement.
• Support talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, engagement, and organizational effectiveness across EMEA.
• Build scalable processes and infrastructure to support a growing EMEA organization, including onboarding, lifecycle practices, and new locations.
• Turn strategy into execution by planning, coordinating dependencies, and driving to completion.
• Be an exceptional cross-functional partner, connecting with People Operations, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, IT, and regional leaders.
