Springer Nature is seeking a Senior Commissioning Editor in a role based in London or Madrid with a hybrid working model. You will lead ELT projects, identify authors, and manage cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality content on schedule and within budget.

The role requires expertise in ELT markets, strong English language skills, and the ability to drive business plans with Global and Local Brand partners. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders and vendor management are key components.

Formación

• Knowledge of ELT markets, especially Spain
• ELT publishing experience at project leadership level
• Solid experience in English language teaching and awareness of international teaching contexts
• Excellent written English
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage numerous tasks
• Understanding of publishing technologies and willingness to learn new systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Working understanding of content management systems
• A positive attitude and commitment to company aims
• Excellent teamwork and organizational skills
• Experience with a range of new media

Responsabilidades

• Segment strategy and planning based on market insights and intelligence.
• Develop differentiated concepts from market research and prepare validation samples.
• Identify authors and evaluate proposals for quality and fit.
• Prepare business cases and oversee project scope with the Project Manager.
• Resource projects and track budget phasing with the Project Manager.
