Sanoma Learning in Madrid is seeking a Junior Legal Advisor to provide practical legal support in Intellectual Property, commercial contracting, and digital/technology matters across editorial and digital education platforms.

You will work with Spain and Italy teams, progressively increasing autonomy, in a hybrid model (2 days in the office, 3 remote). Fluency in English is essential, and previous publishing, media, or digital content IP experience is highly valued.

Formación

• Law degree (Spanish Law) required.
• IP/Industrial Property knowledge.
• Master's or postgraduate qualification in Intellectual Property is valued.
• Knowledge of Digital Law, Technology, and AI is an advantage.
• Native or bilingual Spanish; advanced English mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal advice on Intellectual Property matters related to editorial, educational, and digital content.
• Draft, review, and negotiate rights acquisition, assignment, and licensing agreements.
• Provide contractual support to Editorial, Digital, Commercial, Marketing, Procurement, Technology and Operations.
• Draft and review services, SaaS, development, maintenance, and supplier contracts.
• Support digital and technology projects, including AI and emerging technologies impacts on IP.
• Familiarize with contractual templates and recurring business queries; contribute to management/resolution.
• Review distribution and channel agreements and matters related to commercial models.
• Collaborate with Spain/Italy Legal teams and other Group legal teams on cross-functional initiatives.
• Provide occasional support on other group legal matters.
