NTT DATA is seeking an experienced DB2 for z/OS Systems Programmer to lead and support a large enterprise DB2 environment across multiple subsystems. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure availability, performance, and security of the DB2 infrastructure.

The role demands deep technical expertise in DB2 for z/OS, CICS integration, disaster recovery planning, and advanced troubleshooting within a production mainframe environment.

Formación

• Typically 8 to 15+ years of IBM Mainframe Systems Programming with a strong focus on DB2 for z/OS administration and support.
• Proven experience supporting large-scale enterprise DB2 environments with multiple subsystems.
• Strong experience in DB2 installation, migration, maintenance, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in Banking/Financial Services or other mission-critical enterprise environments preferred.
• Hands-on experience supporting high-volume OLTP environments with CICS and DB2.
• Expertise in DB2 performance monitoring, capacity planning, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain DB2 for z/OS environments.
• Support a large-scale enterprise DB2 infrastructure with multiple subsystems.
• Plan and execute DB2 version upgrades, migrations, and maintenance.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for applications using DB2.
• Ensure stability, integrity, availability, and performance of DB2 databases.
• Support and manage DDF and distributed DB2 connectivity.
• Maintain OLTP environments with CICS and DB2 and optimize performance.
• Develop backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
