Job summary

NTT DATA seeks an experienced DB2 for z/OS Systems Programmer to lead a large, complex DB2 environment. You will install, upgrade, and tune DB2, support DDF connectivity, and ensure high availability across regions and platforms.

The role requires 8–15+ years in IBM mainframe DB2 and strong collaboration with security, development, and operations teams to drive continuous improvement and robust disaster recovery. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

Typically 8 to 15+ years in IBM Mainframe Systems Programming with DB2 for z/OS.
Proven experience supporting large-scale enterprise DB2 environments with multiple subsystems.
Strong experience in installation, migration, maintenance and performance tuning of DB2.

Responsibilities

Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of DB2 for z/OS environments.
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain DB2 for z/OS across platforms.
Provide Level 2/3 support for DB2-based applications and troubleshoot complex issues.
Plan upgrades, migrations, and maintenance; manage DDF connectivity.
Lead disaster recovery planning and backup/recovery procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design, deployment, and optimization.
