NTT DATA in Madrid seeks a highly skilled z/OS Mainframe Storage Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise storage infrastructure. You will oversee disk and tape storage, backup and disaster recovery, capacity planning, and storage software lifecycle management across IBM z/OS environments.

The role requires deep expertise in IBM DS8000 storage, z/OS IODF administration, and related tools, with a focus on reliability, performance, and cross-team collaboration in a global enterprise.

Formación

• 8 to 15+ years of mainframe storage experience.
• Hands-on experience with IBM DS8000 storage.
• Experience in regulated enterprise environments (banking/FSI) preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure high availability and performance of enterprise storage.
• Monitor storage utilization, performance, and health across environments.
• Contribute to security, governance, and operational standards.
• Manage storage growth and long-term capacity planning.
• Support software installations, maintenance, and migrations.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
