NTT DATA is seeking an experienced z/OS Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our enterprise infrastructure team in Madrid. You will install, upgrade, maintain, and support IBM z/OS and related products across large-scale, mission-critical environments.

The ideal candidate has deep z/OS systems programming expertise, strong Parallel Sysplex skills, and extensive banking/financial services experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in after-hours upgrades, and

Formación

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in z/OS Systems Programming.
• Deep knowledge of z/OS, SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL and RACF; strong Parallel Sysplex expertise.
• Experience in large enterprise environments, preferably Banking/Financial Services; strong troubleshooting.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, customize, upgrade, and maintain IBM z/OS operating systems.
• Manage IBM and CA/Broadcom system software across enterprise environments.
• Plan and execute OS upgrades and maintenance using SMP/E.
• Administer and support large Parallel Sysplex environments for high availability.
• Monitor performance, plan capacity, and optimize resources.
• Analyze and resolve complex system-level issues with z/OS and middleware.
• Collaborate with application support, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
• Implement maintenance, service packs, and vendor updates.
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability initiatives.
• Maintain security controls and compliance; document procedures and runbooks.
• Participate in root cause analysis and mentor junior members.
• Provide on-call support for production changes and incidents.
