Horse Technologies, a division of Horse Powertrain, seeks a skilled System Engineer to own the battery system lifecycle within hybrid powertrain programs, from innovation to mass production and aftersales. You will define the system roadmap, lead architecture and validation, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards while coordinating across engineering teams.

Competenze

3+ years in system engineering for automotive electrical/electronic systems and hybrid powertrain development.
Strong requirements management and system modeling skills.
Excellent English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

Own the full lifecycle of a battery system within hybrid powertrain solutions from concept to mass production and aftersales.
Define and drive the system strategic roadmap balancing tech, quality, and cost.
Lead system definition, architecture, design, validation, and industrialization activities.
Ensure development meets technical, regulatory, safety, and performance requirements per ISO 15288.
Translate requirements into component and software specs and lead system engineering teams.
Oversee system sizing, including simulations, validation and testing.
Drive development of new system functionalities including risk analysis, integration, and validation.
