Job summary

Santander is seeking an Asset Backed Securities Analyst to join the Securitized Product Group. You will support origination, structuring, and execution across consumer and commercial ABS, leveraging strong analytical and modeling skills.

The role requires experience in securitized products and a solid understanding of cash flow mechanics, rating methodologies, and market dynamics. Collaboration across teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in securitized products, structured finance, asset-backed securities, or related capital markets disciplines.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and structured finance tools such as Intex and CAS.

Responsibilities

• Analyze collateral performance data, historical asset performance, collateral tapes, and comparable transactions.
• Build and maintain financial models to project cash flows, evaluate structures, and run scenario analyses.
• Develop knowledge of rating agency methodologies, credit considerations, and market developments across securitized products sectors.
• Support the execution of securitization and structured finance transactions from origination through closing.
• Coordinate with rating agencies, investors, accounting firms, trustees, and legal counsel.
• Partner with Risk, Syndicate, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams.
