Job summary
Santander Alternative Investments in Madrid seeks a Structured Finance Vice-President (Semi-Liquid Private Markets) to support sourcing, structuring, deployment and management of multi-currency lending portfolios.
You will lead credit, risk and legal analysis, negotiate with private lenders, and coordinate with fund management to align with investment criteria. The role requires 8+ years of related experience and fluency in English and Spanish. Travel may be required.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of structured finance and private markets experience.
- Multijurisdictional SPV structuring and cross-border lending experience.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Source and lead structuring and funding of Short-Term revolving Structured Finance semi-liquid portfolios.
- Source, analyze and monitor investment opportunities, structure through SPVs multi-currency jurisdictions.
- Day to day management of portfolios and ensure alignment with investment criteria.
- Lead negotiations with private lenders to obtain financing for SME semi-liquid strategy.
- Lead documentation for acquisitions including legal, valuation, and credit submissions.
