Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for its Wind Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. You will monitor turbine performance, perform remote diagnostics, and collaborate with site teams to maintain reliable operations.

You will guide commissioning and service, analyze data, and contribute to continuous improvement across a rotating shift schedule. The role requires engineering education, hands-on wind turbine experience, proficiency with SCADA, and strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona, with EU work eligibility.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Provide remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data for faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages with safety and compliance.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/holidays.
