Job summary

GE Vernova invites applications for a ROC Technical Lead in Barcelona, Spain, to supervise offshore wind assets from a Remote Operations Center. You’ll work across commissioning and service phases, ensuring turbine performance, diagnosing issues, and driving improvements while coordinating with site teams and engineering experts.

The role requires wind energy experience, SCADA proficiency, strong analytical skills, and willingness to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.
Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
