Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Wind Remote Operations to oversee offshore turbine performance from a Remote Operations Center. You will monitor alarms, assist with commissioning and service activities, and work with field teams to restore performance across lifecycle phases.

You will analyze data, escalate complex issues with clear technical information, and support continuous process improvements while prioritising safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
