Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead to operate offshore wind assets from a Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. You will monitor turbines, diagnose issues, and coordinate remote support across commissioning and service phases.

You bring a degree in engineering, hands-on wind turbine experience, and strong analytical skills. Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona is required; EU work eligibility. Flourish in a collaborative, multilingual team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
