Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for its Wind Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. You will monitor turbine performance, analyze faults, and drive remote diagnostics to ensure safe, efficient offshore wind asset operation across commissioning and service phases.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts, troubleshoot issues, and lead continuous improvement while supporting reports and escalation with clear technical communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind energy experience in operational environments.
• Fluent English, willingness to relocate to Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays
