Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center in wind energy. You will monitor turbine performance, diagnose faults, and lead remote troubleshooting to ensure safe, efficient offshore wind assets.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, analyse data, and communicate findings clearly under pressure. Travel up to 20% may be required; relocation to Barcelona is considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Support commissioning and service via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.

• Support grid outages prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/holidays.
