GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead to operate from a Remote Operations Center in Barcelona, Spain, focusing on offshore wind assets. You will monitor turbines, diagnose issues remotely, and support field teams to maintain performance and safety.

You will collaborate with engineering and support teams, analyze data for faults and trends, and contribute to continuous improvement. Regular travel may be required; weekend/on-call coverage is part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in the wind energy sector.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.

Responsabilités

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
