GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Wind Remote Operations in Barcelona to support offshore assets from a remote operations center. You will monitor turbine performance, diagnose issues, and coordinate with site teams to ensure safe, reliable operation.

The role combines commissioning and service tasks, requires travel up to 20%, fluent English, and EU work eligibility; relocation to Barcelona is expected for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in the wind energy sector.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Fluent English, relocation to Barcelona, EU work eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
