Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Wind Remote Operations in Barcelona. You will support offshore wind assets from a remote operations center, coordinating with site teams and engineering experts to ensure safe, efficient performance throughout the lifecycle.

You will monitor turbine performance, perform remote diagnostics, assist field teams, and analyze data to identify faults and opportunities for improvement. A rotating shift pattern and on-call duties are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot in the field.
• Fluent English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to support commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvements.
• Support reporting of technical findings and process improvements.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/holidays.
